We also write appraisals for insurance and other purposes. Artley Violins has a wide variety of well-known and lesser-known fine instruments for sale and rent, as well as bows, cases, and needed supplies for the orchestral string player. Our prices range from the modest student to the artist level. All of our Artley bows and instruments are shop adjusted to meet or exceed the Music Educators National Conference standards. Since 1981, Artley Violins has worked closely with school orchestra programs providing fair and reasonable estimates concerning restorations and purchases of school-owned instruments. In fact, the entire Artley staff has at one time or another been a public school string teacher.
